Terms and conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all courier and transport services, removal services and cleaning services provided by vollständiger Firmenname{{TODO: vollständiger Firmenname}} to both consumers and businesses. Differing terms of the customer apply only where we agree to them in writing.

2. Formation of contract

Requests made through this website are non-binding. A contract is formed only with our written or telephone order confirmation, which states the scope of service, the date and the price.

3. Courier and transport services

We undertake carriage as a direct drive with no transfer. Committed collection and delivery times are binding where the order confirmation describes them as fixed. Delays caused by force majeure, traffic conditions or a lack of cooperation at the collection or destination address are not at our expense. 4. Removal services

Removal services are provided under German removal contract law (§§ 451 ff. HGB). The scope of service follows from the quote, which is based on the survey; goods not surveyed or not declared are agreed separately before work begins. The customer identifies particularly valuable, fragile or hazardous items when the contract is concluded. A fixed price applies to the scope described in the quote. 5. Cleaning services

Cleaning services are provided according to the cleaning schedule agreed in writing. Regular cleaning is billed as a monthly flat rate; the first four weeks are a trial period during which either side may terminate without notice. Thereafter the notice period stated in the quote applies. Defects must be reported to us without delay; we remedy them within 24 hours. The customer provides access, water and electricity. 6. Customer obligations

The customer packages shipments safely for transport, labels them, states the value of the goods where higher cover is needed, and ensures that an authorised person is available at both the collection and the destination address. For removals, the customer ensures that access routes, lifts and parking are usable on the agreed date and cooperates with the parking permit. For cleaning services, the customer grants access at the agreed times.

7. Excluded goods

The following are excluded from carriage: cash and securities, dangerous goods under ADR, live animals, perishable goods without a cooling agreement, weapons and ammunition, and illegal goods. If the customer hands over such goods regardless, we may abort the carriage; any resulting costs are borne by the customer.

8. Liability

For courier and transport services we are liable under the statutory provisions of German freight law (§§ 407 ff. HGB), limited to the cover provided by our carrier liability insurance of Versicherungssumme{{TODO: Versicherungssumme}} per claim, to the extent legally permitted. For removal goods we are liable under §§ 451 ff. HGB; in addition, transit insurance up to Versicherungssumme Umzug{{TODO: Versicherungssumme Umzug}} is in place. For cleaning services we are liable within our public liability insurance up to Versicherungssumme Reinigung{{TODO: Versicherungssumme Reinigung}}. Higher-value shipments and removal goods require a prior written agreement. 9. Notice of damage

Externally visible damage must be noted on the proof of delivery or in the handover report at handover. Damage that is not visible must be reported to us in writing within seven days of delivery; for removals the deadlines of § 451f HGB apply. 10. Prices and payment

The price stated in the order confirmation applies. Invoices are payable in full within Zahlungsziel{{TODO: Zahlungsziel}} days. Consumer prices include statutory VAT; prices to businesses are quoted plus VAT.

11. Cancellation

Courier runs may be cancelled free of charge until the driver sets off; after that we charge the costs incurred up to the cancellation as per the quote. Removal dates and one-off cleaning dates may be cancelled free of charge up to the deadline stated in the quote; after that we charge demonstrably incurred costs, such as parking permits already applied for or materials delivered.

12. Jurisdiction and applicable law
