Move-out cleaning: the end-of-tenancy clean
A move-out clean is the cleaning of a flat between moving out and handover — more thorough than broom-clean, the way most tenancy agreements require: kitchen inside and out, bathroom descaled, floors, windows, radiators, doors. On request the new flat before you move in as well. As part of a move with Avero or as a job of its own.

Situation
The move was on Saturday, the flat handover is on Tuesday, and the tenancy agreement says "cleaned", not "broom-clean".
What happened
Monday two cleaners from our team, five hours: kitchen, bathroom, floors, windows, radiators. Photos of every room, handover report. Tuesday handover with no deduction from the deposit.

Broom-clean means: emptied, coarse dirt removed, floors swept. Cleaned means everything beyond that — kitchen inside, bathroom descaled, windows, radiators. Which level your tenancy agreement requires is usually in the handover clause; in doubt, cleaned is the safe choice, because the landlord then has nothing to deduct.
