Removals

No-parking zone for your move

A no-parking zone (Halteverbotszone) is an officially permitted, signposted stretch outside your front door that stays free for the removal van on moving day. We apply for it with the relevant traffic authority, put the signs up in good time and collect them afterwards — as part of a move, or as a job of its own if you are moving yourself.

Included

  • Application with the traffic authority of the town concerned
  • Signs put up at least 72 hours before the move, as required
  • Photo documentation of the signs with timestamp
  • Removal and collection of the signs after the move
  • Both addresses, including outside the Rhine-Main region

Not included

  • Towing vehicles parked in the zone regardless — the police arrange that, we help with the call
  • Zones for building sites, skips or events

Removals

A typical job

Situation

A move into central Darmstadt, where parking outside the building on a weekday is hopeless. Without a free stretch the crew would carry every piece of furniture 80 metres.

What happened

Application ten days ahead with the City of Darmstadt, signs put up and photographed four days before the move. On moving day the van is outside the front door. The carrying time saved was worth more than the fee.
