Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we are asked most often on the phone — across all three areas. If something is missing, call us.
General
For courier runs within 15 minutes during business hours, in writing and binding. For removals and cleaning we get back to you within one working day, arrange a short survey — on site or by video — and send the quote straight afterwards.
Across the whole Rhine-Main region: Darmstadt and the Darmstadt-Dieburg district, Frankfurt with the airport, Offenbach, Mainz, Wiesbaden, Hanau, Aschaffenburg and everything in between. Direct drives and removals beyond that nationwide.
Every job is priced individually — courier runs by distance, timing and shipment, removals by volume, access and extras, cleaning by area, frequency and times. You receive a written quote with everything in it. Surcharges apply only when they are stated there.
Private customers pay by bank transfer on receipt of the invoice, or by card with the driver on courier runs. Business customers are invoiced on terms, and under a framework agreement as one consolidated monthly invoice across all services. We do not accept cash.
Yes. Every invoice shows the net amount, the 19 % VAT and the gross amount separately, and carries our VAT identification number. It is therefore deductible as input tax. Private customers can claim removal and cleaning services as household-related services for tax purposes — the invoice is split accordingly.
Courier runs free of charge as long as no driver has set off. Removal and cleaning dates free of charge up to the deadline stated in the quote; after that we charge the costs incurred up to then, for example for parking permits already applied for or materials delivered. Call rather than email.
Courier runs by carrier liability insurance with {{TODO: Versicherungssumme}} per claim, removal goods by transit insurance up to {{TODO: Versicherungssumme Umzug}}, cleaning work by public liability insurance up to {{TODO: Versicherungssumme Reinigung}}. For higher-value shipments or removal goods we agree higher cover in writing beforehand — it cannot be raised retrospectively.
Courier
Within 60 minutes of order confirmation inside Darmstadt, and usually within 15–25 minutes by cargo bike in the city centre. In the district allow up to 75 minutes, and elsewhere in the Rhine-Main region by arrangement. The committed collection time is stated in the quote before you place the order.
Yes. We run normally on Saturdays, and on Sundays and Hessian public holidays on request. Runs from 2:00 pm on Saturday, on Sundays and on public holidays carry a surcharge, which is itemised in the quote.
Yes, on every run. The driver takes a signature on handover and photographs the shipment at the destination. You receive the signature, photo and timestamp by email, usually within a few minutes of delivery.
The driver calls the recipient first, then you. You then decide: wait, drive to a different address, or return to the sender. Waiting is charged from 15 minutes, and a run to a new address counts as a new route. We do not leave shipments anywhere without your agreement.
On request we send status updates by WhatsApp or SMS: collected, en route, delivered. We deliberately do not run a tracking portal. If you want more detail, call dispatch — someone there can reach the driver directly.
Well enough for a car journey: delicate items padded, liquids sealed, sharp edges covered. Documents can travel loose in a folder. A pallet has to be wrapped and stable. For lab samples we supply a cool box on request — the primary packaging remains your responsibility.
Yes. We regularly move samples between practices, pharmacies and laboratories across the Rhine-Main region, temperature-controlled with a cool box on request. We do not carry category A infectious substances or organ transports. Controlled drugs and ADR dangerous goods require a prior written agreement.
Cash and securities, dangerous goods under ADR, live animals, perishable goods without a cooling agreement, weapons and ammunition, and anything illegal. If you are unsure, ask before booking — turning a shipment away at the door helps nobody.
Yes, as a direct drive nationwide. We price these routes individually and confirm the price in writing beforehand. The shipment stays in the same vehicle with the same driver throughout.

Removals
For flats of three rooms or more, houses and offices, yes — a quote without a survey is a guess, and guesses get expensive on moving day. For smaller flats a video walk-through on a smartphone is enough, where we go through the rooms together. Both are free and without obligation.
As early as possible, especially for Saturdays and month ends. Two to three weeks' notice is comfortable; most towns need one to two weeks for the parking permit. Short-notice moves and small moves are possible within a few days depending on capacity — call us.
Yes, for the scope surveyed. What we saw at the survey and listed in the quote costs exactly that on moving day — regardless of whether the lift breaks down or the crew takes longer. Only what is added and was not surveyed is named beforehand and agreed separately. There is no extra billing after the move.
On request, yes, in full or in part — just the kitchen and the books, for example. We deliver boxes, packing paper, wardrobe boxes and bubble wrap in advance, and the crew packs the day before the move or on the day itself. The packing service is itemised separately in the quote.
Yes. Removal boxes, book boxes, wardrobe boxes, packing paper, bubble wrap and tape are delivered to the flat in advance. They are included in Comfort and full-service moves and itemised separately for a Basic move. We collect the empty boxes after the move.
Yes. We apply for the no-parking zone with the town or municipality, put the signs up in good time and take them down again afterwards. The authority's fees are itemised in the quote. Without a reserved zone the carrying distances get longer, and that costs more than the permit.
Yes: wardrobes, beds, shelving, kitchens and office furniture. Every part and fitting is labelled during disassembly so reassembly works without searching. We do not do electrical, gas and water connections that require a licensed trade.
We take them away and dispose of them properly — bulky waste, electrical appliances, timber, separated and with documentation. Usable furniture we pass on to charities on request. Disposal is itemised by volume in the quote.
Saturdays as standard, Sundays and public holidays by arrangement — many office moves happen exactly then. Whether and which surcharges apply is stated in the quote beforehand; nothing that is not in there is charged.
Tell us as soon as you know. Up to the deadline stated in the quote we reschedule free of charge; after that we charge only costs actually incurred by then, such as a parking permit already applied for. A postponement because of illness or a flat handover we almost always resolve without extra cost.
No. Goods travel in removal blankets and stretch film, upholstery and mattresses in protective covers, floors and stairwells are covered. In the event of black ice or a severe weather warning we talk to you the day before about postponing — safety comes before the date.
Report it to us, ideally on moving day at the handover report, at the latest within the statutory deadlines. Removal goods are insured beyond the statutory liability up to {{TODO: Versicherungssumme Umzug}}. For particularly valuable items we agree higher cover in advance.
Under certain conditions yes, if the move was approved beforehand. The authority usually requires several written estimates. We issue a quote in the form the Jobcenter needs and settle directly with the authority on request. Ask the Jobcenter before the move — nothing is covered retrospectively.
Yes, with our own cleaning team — that is the advantage of three services under one roof. The move-out clean makes the flat ready for handover: kitchen inside and out, bathroom descaled, windows, floors, radiators, with a photo report for the landlord. Included in the all-inclusive move, otherwise bookable on its own.
Cleaning
That depends on floor area, use and visitor traffic. As a rule of thumb: washrooms and kitchens in offices daily, workstations and floors two to three times a week, stairwells weekly, glass monthly to twice a year. What makes sense for your building we settle at the site visit — and adjust during the trial period.
Yes, that is the norm: before the working day starts, after it ends or at the weekend. For that the cleaners need a key or an access card, which is handed over against a receipt and logged in a key register.
Yes, everything: cleaning agents, microfibre systems, vacuum cleaners, mop trolleys. If your building has its own requirements — a hygiene plan in a practice, say, or specific agents for delicate floors — we work to them. Consumables such as soap and paper towels we restock on request.
Yes: a deep clean after a move or before handing a flat back, a post-construction clean after a new build or refurbishment, glass cleaning before an event. One-off cleans are offered at a fixed price, after a site visit or from a floor plan and photos.
Wherever planning allows, yes. Every building has a fixed cleaner or team and a stand-in for holidays and illness who also knows the building. All staff are employed and registered with us; we do not use subcontractors without your knowledge.
The first four weeks run as a trial with no commitment. After that we sign a cleaning contract with the notice period stated in the quote — with no long minimum terms. Whoever is happy with the cleaning stays; whoever is not should be able to leave.
Yes, as a move-out clean — at a fixed price by area and condition, with a handover report and photos for the landlord. If you move with us, we schedule the clean for the day after the move; otherwise for the day you need.
Business accounts
Yes. As soon as jobs become regular, a framework agreement pays off: fixed terms, agreed response times, named drivers and cleaners where planning allows, and one monthly invoice instead of individual receipts. It starts with a trial period, no commitment.
Yes, that is the point of the three areas. One framework agreement can cover scheduled runs, office cleaning and the next site move — with one contact, one invoice and terms that reflect the total volume.
Yes. The monthly consolidated invoice can be broken down by cost centre, site or service area, however your accounts department needs it. The allocation is set up once when the agreement starts.
